DAIRY FEEDS

Drinagh Cooperative produces a range of quality feeds suitable for a wide range of feeding situations. Quality has always been important to us being one of the first mills in the south of Ireland awarded the ISO9000 standard. We have recently achieved the UFAS (Feed Safety) accreditation, specifically designed for the animal feed industry.

At Drinagh, we pride ourselves in using the best quality ingredients with most rations based on a large inclusion of native cereals or maize.
Our feed range is divided into three sections, namely Winter, Spring and Summer. The feeds for each season are designed to complement the season and the lactation stage of the cow

BEEF, CALF & SHEEP FEEDS

This feed has earned a reputation over the years as an excellent finisher feed, making it one of the most popular feeds in our range. This feed has a high cereal content (50%). Maize makes up half the cereal. As well as an excellent ingredient to finish, including maize reduces the risk of acidosis.

CALF FEEDS

Early feed intake is a critical factor affecting calf performance. Feed must be palatable, have the correct texture and be formulated to minimise digestive upsets to achieve this. Rumen development is also at a critical phase. This must be considered when formulating.
